Planning is a crucial step in every web designing process. It enables you to connect the dots to design better without much redo. Organizing which thing to put first will consume less time and results in the desired web design.
Content and design nourish each other. Audience engagement largely depends upon the content. It lets your audience interact with your story and come with the flow you want them to.
The web design that revolves around its content can lead to high engagement and increase conversion rate.

Create responsive prototypes:

Building the layout before coding saves you from hassle and mistakes. It ensures you to look and feel the design first before you go for coding.
After creation, run testing to ensure that there will be no problem in smooth working and functionality of the final website.

Prefer parallax scrolling:

Better engagement of the visitor is the chief advantage that parallax scrolling provides us.
This latest trend allows the visitor to scroll and interact with your website more freely on their own. Using this method you can relate the design with the story you tell to the visitor. It makes them feel your story and deeply understand what you want to convey to them.

Optimize the images:

No website design is complete without images. Creating the responsive images reduces the loading time hence contribute significantly to the overall responsiveness of the website.
During the process of designing layouts, creating the optimized images for each layout minimizes the bandwidth and scaling issues. JPEG, PNG and GIFs are the right file formats for images. Do not use PNG as it will increase the file size and affects the website speed.

Keep the focus on the font size:

Font size, width, and height rely on the font used. Your font must make it easy to read whether the website is being viewed on big or small screens.
As the body copy is the major writing piece, it should be noticeable. Use the size of 16px for body copy and 1.25 to 1.5 line spacing.
While designing keep the check on the fitness of font size on varying screen sizes.
